Support » Plugin: Object Sync for Salesforce » Sync Contact and Account info to WordPress User

  • Resolved TheBecoming

I’m wondering if this is possible and if some one can point me in the right direction. If I need to use hooks to do part of this, I’m ok with doing that, just didn’t want to start writing a bunch of code if this is something I can do natively.

I want to be able to sync Contact and Account info on a user in WordPress. I have ACF, woocom, and a few other plugins that make up a user’s profile. All seem to appear when I’m mapping the SF and wordpress fields and seem to map and sync info.

I created two fieldmaps – WordPress Object = user. One for SF Accounts and one for SF Contacts.

Only one fieldmap works/shows up on a wordpress user account at a time. I can either sync account info to a wordpress user or I can sync contact info to a wordpress user by changing the Salesforce ID from contact ID to account ID.

    How can sync both?

This plugin hasn’t really been developed to allow two fieldmaps to work on the same WordPress object. I’d welcome pull requests to enable that kind of functionality, and I do already have a pull request, that still needs testing, which starts to enable it in the other direction (that is, multiple fieldmaps that push to the same Salesforce object type) but I don’t think it would affect your case. So I don’t think this is doable in the current way the plugin works.
