• I have a slider set up with 5 slides, the first few load fine, but then it generally freezes on the 4th slide. If I click to a new tab and back it continues as it should, but if I stay on the page I cannot click the button, the arrow, or advance the slide with my mouse.

Other times the slides will advance but the title will get stuck. I’ve reduced the image size and even cut the slides down to 3 thinking that may help, but I keep getting the same problem.

    Please help.

  • Hi @rduxbury ,
we looked at an example and started debugging, but at the moment we can no longer find an example of a slider on your page. Can you please send us an example of a slider you are having trouble with a test URL, so that we can find the problem and fix it as soon as possible.

What we can confirm with certainty is that there is no problem in the size of the images and the amount of slides. We noticed that you had two different instances of the slider one for the desktop and one completely different for the mobile. This was what created the problem because both instances were present, only you did not display the mobile version visually but it was present on the website. This is what we still need to test and see what it is about, please send us an example URL to find out the problem.

Thanks and have a nice rest of the day.

I had to remove it from my homepage because it was causing my whole site to freeze.

I have it on a test page now, I cut the slides down to 3 and the instance down to 1 (for both large and small displays) but in Edge, it’s not cycling through correctly – the transition between the first and second slide is smooth but the second to third jumps and the caption doesn’t change.

As far as I can tell it works fine in Chrome and Firefox.

    Hi @rduxbury ,

we are really sorry that you waited longer for our answer. We test the example of the slider you submitted on your test URL, we take a closer look at the Edge you mentioned having problems. Today we will give you more information that we have managed to improve to make your slider work.

Once again, apologies for the wait, but we really want the product to work great for us, so we give ourselves special effort and time in situations like this.

We wish you a pleasant rest of the day and let you know the details during the day.
