    Hello!

I use the Feedzy shortcode loaded into a “Text” widget to power the “Related” sidebar on my site’s subpages.

On the “How to use shortcode” Feedzy page, it shows that the “Max” parameter in a shortcode can range between 1-30.

On one of my subpages — CTE Programs: High School — I use the shortcode below, with the max parameter set to 30, but it only shows 10 items, when there should be 19 items in this feed:

    [feedzy-rss feeds=”https://www.leanderisd.org/feed/?tag=related-highschoolcteprograms” summary=”no” thumb=”no” sort=”title_asc” meta=”no” feed_title=”no” max=”30″ target=”_self”]

When I change the max parameter to a number less than 10, such as 5, it does limit the feed accordingly. I just can’t get it to show a number greater than 10.

Is there a different limit unique to it being in the Widget area?

    Thanks,
    Daniel

    Hi @lisdwebmaster,

I’ve checked your feed – https://www.leanderisd.org/feed/?tag=related-highschoolcteprograms#8221 and I can confirm that it contains only 10 <item> elements.

Could you please provide more details where you see 19 items in this feed?

    Thanks!

    Hello, Vytis.

Thanks for pointing that. In my head, I knew there were 19 items with that tag, but I didn’t think to check that my site would be limiting the number of items that appear in the RSS feed itself. Bad assumption on my part!

I’ve adjusted the Settings / Reading / Syndication Feeds Show the Most Recent field to allow for more than 10 items to appear in the RSS feed, and now all 19 items appear in the RSS.

This, in turn, allow for all 19 items to appear in the Feedzy widget.

    Appreciate your help!
