Facebook Restrictions

Hello There. This is the third time I have received this error and only this plugin posts to my FaceBook page (every 3 hours). I have appealed twice but Facebook never replies or even bother to clarify on the issue. Would you be aware of why this is happening?

Hi there, what type of posts do you share to Facebook? Also can you try turning off the plugin for a few days – week to see if the error still comes up while doing manual posting on your page?
I have general self-help content that is evergreen. I will try to do this and report, but I will have to wait until the 12th for the ban to lift.
Ok no problem, this is the first we’re receiving this report, if the issue continues I’d advise that you simply do without such sharing- at least just for the Facebook network.
We use standard Facebook API functions to create the posts on the pages so there’s nothing funny happening, Facebook might have some other strange reason for doing this
The issue has occurred twice again since this conversation. I turned off Facebook sharing for three days and tried manual scheduling for a few days and it all worked well. Turning this plugin on for Facebook brought back the issue.
@callaloo This is weird behavior and isn’t happening for our test cases, how often are your shares set for? I’m not sure what might be triggering this, you can try disconnecting Facebook and reconnecting it to see if the issue still persists.
We’re not receiving this type of issue from other users so it seems to be limited to your website + account
Can the interval be the issue? I set it to 3 hours (for both Facebook and Twitter) but only 1 post is shared per interval.
You can experiment with that interval to see if the issue persists.
I set the interval to six hours and the page was restricted again a day after. I am not sure why this has been happening and Facebook has refused to give me a reason when I appeal.
Hi @callaloo, in this case, I’d recommend you not use the plugin with Facebook. You’re the only user who is reporting this and it seems to be something between your website and Facebook page.
Unfortunately there’s not much we can do on our end as this doesn’t seem to be a widespread issue.
Hi @callaloo,
We haven’t heard from you in a while so we will be marking this as Resolved. If you continue to face an issue, please create a new ticket. We’d be happy to help.
The issue was a headache. Still monitoring…seems nothing has been blocked in the past week.
