    Hello,

This is my website: Citypixels – 3D architectuur

I submitted a sitemap of my website on the Google Webmasters website for SEO.

This may be a stupid question, but now I am wondering: Do I have to upload a new sitemap every time I post a new post or I change something on my website (text/ photos/ …)?

    Already thanks in advance!
    Kind regards,
    Jonas

    Hi Jonas,
No you don’t have to resubmit your sitemap to google everything you make changes.

I’m not sure if you manually created your sitemap or with a plugin. if you manually created the sitemap then you would need to update the sitemap file every time you make change, but if you used a plugin to create the sitemap then there is nothing you need to do. The plugin will update the sitemap every time you create a post or page or any other content, then Google will periodically check your sitemap file to see if there are any updates.

    Hope this helps.

    Hello Chrsinteractive,

Thanks a lot for your answer.

I did it manualy, but now I have installed the plugin, so it should be going smooth now. 🙂

    Thanks!
    Jonas
