    Hi Brice,

    today I saw it first on alpendeich.de – 2 articles form cremerseele.de shown the default image – but in the cremerseele-articles are not any image. The articles from moodway.de without an image shown no default image on alpendeich.de (and that’s correct).

    Why is it so?

    Best

  • Hi Jörn,
    You’re right, default image is shown whereas there is no “visible” image.
    Inspect your page’s DOM, and you’ll see this :

    <a href="http://www.cremerseele.de/samsung-850evo-mit-2-tb/" target="_blank" title="Samsung 850EVO mit 2 TB">
        <span class="default" style="width:150px; height:150px; background-image:  url(http://alpendeich.de/wp-content/plugins/feedzy-rss-feeds/img/feedzy-default.jpg);" alt="Samsung 850EVO mit 2 TB"></span>
        <span class="fetched" style="width:150px; height:150px; background-image:  url(http://ir-de.amazon-adsystem.com/e/ir%3Ft%3Dwwwmcfilmsde-21%26l%3Das2%26o%3D3%26a%3DB010UFKDHY?t=wwwmcfilmsde-21&l=as2&o=3&a=B010UFKDHY);" alt="Samsung 850EVO mit 2 TB"></span></a>

    So feedzy fetched this URL as an image: http://ir-de.amazon-adsystem.com/e/ir%3Ft%3Dwwwmcfilmsde-21%26l%3Das2%26o%3D3%26a%3DB010UFKDHY?t=wwwmcfilmsde-21&l=as2&o=3&a=B010UFKDHY

    When you inspect the related feed, you can see that there is an image which correspond to this URL:
    <a href="http://www.cremerseele.de/samsung-850evo-mit-2-tb/"><img title="" src="http://ir-de.amazon-adsystem.com/e/ir?t=wwwmcfilmsde-21&l=as2&o=3&a=B010UFKDHY" alt="" style="max-width: 1px; height: auto;" /></a>

    So, you may have something, somewhere which insert this 1px image in your feed.

    Regards,
