    Dear Community,

    Subject bot (fairly new) is crawling the web for information about websites. It will soon depend on ads, etc. to make money. Are you going to get a cut? Not likely.

    Consider blocking them or asking for your cut 🙂

    We will continue to stand against bots that provide no SEO nor financial benefit to our websites.

    Thanks for the alert. Aggressive spiders and bots can definitely be a pain, though which ones site owners block can boil down to a personal choice. The Yandex bot is a perfect example. Sometimes the traffic from it is over the top and I have blocked it before on my sites, but I also know that they are like the Eastern Europe equivalent to Google in some places. I see that InfoTiger says that they respect the robots.txt file but then I have seen other bots and spiders that say they do but don’t. One other thing you can do is add a block for InfoTigerBot on the Wordfence Firewall > Blocking page on your website. You’d want to use the Custom Pattern option. There are details here:
